The Hubstory Upright Heritage is a fully restored vintage upright piano, hand-selected and comprehensively rebuilt by Hubstory’s restoration workshop from historic European upright pianos dating from the early to mid-20th century. Each instrument is selected for the quality and integrity of its original wooden structure — the soundboard, bridges, ribs, and cabinet — before undergoing a complete interior rebuild using new Roslau strings, new hammers, new damper felts, new action components, and a fully re-regulated action mechanism to meet modern playing standards. The result is an instrument that combines the character, warmth, and visual charm of a vintage European piano with the reliability, playability, and tonal consistency of a newly built instrument. Each Hubstory Heritage piano is unique: the cabinet retains its original character, with tasteful and respectful cosmetic restoration that preserves visible signs of age and provenance.
